A second bomb blast in northern Nigeria's Kaduna city has
killed at least 17 people, officials say.
Reports say the explosion rocked the crowded Kawo market.
An official says Nigerian opposition leader Muhammadu
Buhari was the target.
But Ahmed Maiyaki, the spokesman for Kaduna's governor,
says Mr Buhari escaped unhurt.
Officials say a curfew is now in place for the city.
The blast follows an earlier suicide bombing that targeted the
convoy of a prominent cleric, killing 25.
The cleric, Dahiru Bauchi, is known for publicly criticising
Boko Haram Islamists.
The second attack happened just a few kilometres from the
first bombing.
The National Emergency Management Agency says they've
counted 17 people dead but the toll could rise.
Some reports have put the combined toll of both blasts at more
than 80.
